Bamford Watch Department (BWD) have agreed a deal to customise renowned Swiss watch brand Girard-Perregaux, part of the Kering Group since 2011. This exciting new strategic partnership should open up more opportunities for BWD to explore within the group.
Girard-Perregaux will join the growing list of Swiss watch brands giving their official stamp of approval to BWD to customise their timepieces – which is a growing trend within the industry.
BWD’s already work with a number of Swiss watchmaking iconic brands including Tag Heuer, Zenith and Corum and continue their strategy to only work with brands in this ‘official’ capacity.
This is a world premier in online customisation for women’s luxury timepieces and a first for BWD.

The watch that will launch the partnership is the Girard-Perregaux Cat’s Eye – named after the instantly recognisable oval shaped case, hence the name. The polished steel case with a diamond bezel will be the canvas for the BWD online customiser.
Clients will be able to choose from any colour combination to create a unique, distinctive and personalised dial. There will be 12 differently coloured strap options crafted from Epi grain leather.

Gem-set watchcase with elongated and curved lugs for perfect wearing comfort. Details and traditional functions such as the date display and delicate small second hand mirror the oval shape of the case.
