I asked for a particular watch from my parents for my 18th birthday. It was a rectangular gold Sarcar with a black dial and a diamond at 12 o’clock. I was actually working part-time at the Geneva jeweller, Adler and I fell in love with this watch which I saw every day. Sadly, it was lost a long time ago.
My second watch, another gift, out of love this time, was a three colour gold Bulgari-Bulgari designed by Gianni Bulgari while he was still at the family company.
Of course, working in the watch industry, my taste has evolved and after a few purchases, I finally acquired my most beautiful watch last Christmas, an F.P.Journe Chronomètre Souverain with a 40mm diameter 6N 18K gold case and a guilloché silver dial.
