In this episode I speak with George Bamford, Founder of Bamford London to hear his expert views on collecting. George describes himself as a ‘Magpie’ collector of vintage watches. Collecting watches can become an obsession. The interest in collecting has coincided with a huge gain in popularity of the pre-owned/vintage watch sector. George has a passion for watches connected with racing and is drawn to the different coloured watch dials from the 60s and 70s and believes this to be the ‘sweet spot’ for vintage watch collecting. It was a hugely enjoyable and lively discussion in front of a ‘sell out’ audience of esteemed collectors.
