Hermès Cape Cod Refined In Perfect Proportion

Hermès Cape Cod Refined In Perfect Proportion

True to its emblematic “square within a rectangle” silhouette, the Hermès Cape Cod reinterprets the contours of an enduring design classic with effortless sophistication.

Conceived in 1991 by Henri d’Origny, whose bold pencil strokes drew inspiration from the Maison’s anchor-chain motif, this timepiece returns in refreshed proportions that vividly express its distinctive character.

While preserving the graphic codes, architectural balance and timeless spirit of the original, the latest Cape Cod introduces a refined “Mini” interpretation. Its 27 x 20 mm format enhances the graceful curvature of the case, showcasing finishes that range from sleek and polished to gem-set brilliance. Offered in stainless steel or yellow gold, each variation reveals its own personality.

Steel models are paired with argenté, étoupe or ardoise dials, delivering understated elegance, while the yellow gold edition radiates warmth through doré and Rouge H tones. Meticulously crafted within the Hermès Horloger workshops, the watch is completed with a single or double tour strap in Swift calfskin or Chamkilight goatskin, an artisanal touch that highlights the subtle nuances of every dial.

An icon revisited, the Cape Cod Mini remains a masterclass in proportion, purity and contemporary refinement.
