Piaget Swinging Pebbles Collection Are Time In Motion

At Piaget, time has never stood still, it has flowed, danced, and adorned. For 2026, the Maison revisits one of its most free-spirited creations with the launch of the Swinging Pebbles, a collection that reimagines the art of timekeeping as jewellery in motion.

For 2026, the Maison revisits one of its most expressive creations with the launch of the Swinging Pebbles, a collection that once again brings together jewellery, design, and the art of timekeeping.

Originally introduced in 1969, Piaget’s Swinging Sautoirs challenged traditional watchmaking by transforming watches into objects of emotion and style. These pieces were designed not simply to tell the time, but to be worn, felt, and experienced. Today, that same spirit returns with a contemporary perspective.

A heritage reimagined

The Swinging Pebbles collection draws inspiration from the creative energy of the 1970s, when Piaget redefined the boundaries between watchmaking and jewellery. Guided by figures such as Valentin Piaget and designer Jean Claude Gueit, the Maison created pieces that were bold, artistic, and highly individual.

This new interpretation remains faithful to that legacy. Each pendant watch is carved from a single slice of ornamental stone, including tiger’s eye, verdite, or pietersite. The stone is hollowed to house a Manufacture movement, forming a smooth pebble shaped case that feels natural and fluid.

Suspended from twisted gold chains, these watches respond to the movement of the wearer, bringing a sense of life and rhythm to the design.

Jewellery first philosophy

As Yves Piaget once said, a watch is first and foremost a piece of jewellery. This philosophy is central to the Swinging Pebbles collection.

These creations go beyond traditional watchmaking. Their soft forms, rich textures, and vibrant stones create an object that is as much about touch and presence as it is about time. They are designed to be worn closely and experienced personally.

Craftsmanship in motion

The collection highlights Piaget’s expertise across multiple disciplines, from goldsmithing to stone work and movement design. Each element is carefully considered, ensuring harmony between form and function.

The chains play a vital role, designed to move naturally and catch the light with every gesture. This sense of movement reflects Piaget’s enduring vision of time as something fluid rather than fixed.

A new generation of expression

The Swinging Pebbles represent a continuation of Piaget’s distinctive approach to design. They are bold yet refined, playful yet precise, and always unexpected.

They appeal to those who value individuality and creativity, offering an alternative to conventional watchmaking. In a world focused on precision and performance, Piaget delivers something more emotional and expressive.

The Swinging Pebbles are not just watches, they are statements of intent. They remind us that horology can be expressive, sensual, and joyfully unpredictable.

In true Piaget style, they don’t just tell the time, they transform it.
