Polo Date Rainbow Is A True Blend Of Piaget’s Signature Styles

Piaget Polo Date Rainbow is a limited-edition boasting a mother-of-pearl dial engraved with the iconic Decor Palace technique and a bezel set with precious stones in rainbow hues, arranged in a bright and captivating colour scale.

Born from a legacy of mastery, the Piaget Polo Date 36 mm in rose gold is moving with the times to mark the Maison’s 150th anniversary, taking on a new and precious appearance as a limited edition. Usually sporting a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds, this timepiece for everyday wear has now taken on two of Maison Piaget’s most iconic aesthetic signatures. The mother-of-pearl dial is delicately engraved with horizontal lines, as Piaget’s Decor Palace technique unfolds on a new material instead of the traditional gold. The other signature feature is the bezel displaying a subtle colour scale in rainbow hues, made up of 17 sapphires, 5 rubies, 6 citrines, 6 tsavorite garnets and 6 spessartite garnets.

The bezel is therefore set with almost 3 carats of trapeze-cut precious stones, painstakingly selected by a gemmologist and assembled by the Maison’s gemsetters in a process lasting seven hours, resulting in the highest level of visual harmony in the bezel and the indexes.

Stemming from the unexpected meeting of several of Piaget’s most iconic techniques, this collector’s timepiece embodies the fine balance between elegance and extravagance that has defined the history of Piaget, Maison of Extralegenza.

This sophisticated watch also highlights horological technique, featuring a sapphire crystal on the case back that reveals the beating heart of the self-winding movement 500P1, along with an oscillating weight bearing the Maison’s crest.

A precious model designed to suit the everyday, this Piaget Polo Date High Jewellery joins the ranks of its dazzlingly successful predecessors: Possession rings and a Limelight Gala watch that also feature, with the utmost allure, bold colours and an homage to Decor Palace. Each in their turn, these iconic designs celebrate the uniquely diverse skills of Maison Piaget.
