Fears is undertaking a bold update of its core collection with the launch of a trinity of new models that will evolve and enrich its Brunswick and Redcliff collections.

Joining the core collection are three distinctive references: the Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’ (above), the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Barleycorn’ (below), and the Redcliff 39.5 Date ‘ES’. Together, they embody a confident evolution of the Fears design language—an ongoing pursuit of elegance, precision, and refined detail that speaks directly to the discerning collector.

Each model offers its own expression of character. The Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’, with its subtle sophistication, is a timeless piece that seamlessly transitions from daily wear to the most formal occasions. The Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Barleycorn’ brings mechanical intrigue and bold personality, appealing to collectors who value both rarity and artistry in complication. The Redcliff 39.5 Date ‘ES’, with its sporty yet versatile spirit, captures the essence of a modern tool watch—equally at home in adventurous settings as it is in the professional sphere.

“At Fears, we pride ourselves on blending heritage with thoughtful modernity — and each of these new pieces embodies that philosophy in its own unique way. The Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’ captures quiet elegance, drawing on the traditional Fears sophisticated tones with a fresh execution. The Redcliff 39.5 ‘ES’ is our boldest expression of everyday resilience — combining material innovation with sporty character and real-world performance – our first tool watch. And with the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Barleycorn’, we explore mechanical artistry through a beautifully detailed dial and a display that feels both fresh and timeless. Together, these watches reflect our continued commitment to making pieces that are both wearable and full of character — all with the refined Fears design style.”

Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Barleycorn’

For those drawn to both mechanical intrigue and expressive design, the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Barleycorn’, offers a compelling fusion of artistry and innovation. Inspired by nature, the watch features a 3D barleycorn patterned on the dial in silverwhite, radiating fine detail and texture. At the centre of the design lies a rich plum lacquered disc, offering bold depth and character while striking a balance between vibrant expression and refined sophistication. The dial’s clean symmetry is anchored by a jump hour display at 12 o’clock, where the hour is shown through a crisp, framed aperture. Balancing the jumping hour window, at 6 o’clock, is a finely brushed and bevelled plate, set within the barleycorn pattern which carriers the Fears name. A single rhodium-plated hand traces the minutes with refined clarity, creating a display that feels both modern and minimalist.
Beneath the surface, the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Barleycorn’ is powered by the Christopher Ward JJ01 module that sits atop a Sellita SW200. The movement delivers a smooth, instantaneous hour jump every sixty minutes — a satisfying piece executed with precision. The 40.5mm brushed and polished stainless steel case frames the dial with subtle sophistication, its gently curved profile sitting comfortably on the wrist. For the first time on a Fears Jump Hour, the case now features a display case back showing the decorated movement with the signature Fears blue rotor with ‘Bristol Flower’ motif. Completing the ensemble is a colour matched Alcantara® strap that picks up the plum dial tones with quiet confidence and tactile warmth, while an optional 5-link stainless steel bracelet offers a more traditional, versatile alternative.
Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’

A contemporary expression of Fears’ iconic cushion-shaped silhouette, the Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’ reimagines classic elegance with a fresh and refined palette. At the heart of the watch is a multi-tonal dial that draws inspiration from the gentle hues found in vintage Fears pieces. Its granular textured charcoal base sets a rich, understated tone, while the 18ct rose gold-plated hands with a frosted finish and applied hour markers with a new special wide version of the ‘Edwin’ typeset introduce a delicate warmth that softens the dial and adds a subtle flourish of colour.
Designed to remain timeless yet modern, the watch is powered by the hand-wound La Joux-Perret D100 calibre — a slim, Swiss-made movement that offers a 50-hour power reserve and features traditional touches such as heat-blued screws. The slimness of the movement allows the case to sit comfortably on the wrist, preserving the Brunswick’s balanced proportions.
The signature onion crown is engraved with the Fears Cypher — a discreet but meaningful detail that nods to the brand’s Victorian heritage. The watch is offered with a choice of a chestnut brown cordovan leather strap or 5-link stainless steel bracelet. Cordovan leather is prized in strap making for its exceptional durability, smooth finish, and rich lustre. Crafted from a specific part of hide, it develops a beautiful patina over time while remaining remarkably resistant to creasing and stretching. This hand-made strap with fold over edges is lined with signature Fears Blue Alcantara® making it extremely comfortable against the skin.
Redcliff 39.5 Date ‘ES’

The Redcliff 39.5 Date ‘ES’ (ES = Endurance Specification) embraces modern sportiness with a hardened, frosted steel case, black DLC elements, and a dynamic multi-level dial punctuated by vivid orange details — a confident daily wearer with robust capability.
As Fears’ first modern tool watch, the Redcliff 39.5 ‘ES’ builds on the material innovation pioneered in the EXPERIMENTAL 01, and benefits from learnings around advanced case hardening and surface treatments.
The introduction of a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating to the key ‘exposed’ components helps ensure enhanced durability and a significant improvement in scratch resistance. All case and buckle parts have a frost surface finish before receiving a special hardening treatment raising the surface hardness to 2,000 HV (Vickers)—many times greater than standard stainless steel. This treatment not only enhances durability but also brings a refined, matte aesthetic that complements the Redcliff’s clean, tool-focused aesthetic.
For those seeking a more modern and assertive presence on the wrist, the Redcliff 39.5 Date ‘ES’ makes a striking statement with its robust yet refined design. The watch features a fully frosted stainless steel case that exudes a subtle industrial edge, perfectly complemented by the sleek black DLC-coated bezel, caseback, buckle and matching crown, which add a touch of boldness and durability. Its dial is a triumph of texture and contrast: a multi-level design centres around a matt black angled rehaut with a sophisticated matte finish, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow.
This is beautifully offset by moulded X2 grade Super-LumiNova® hour markers that glow vividly in low light, with the longest luminous duration to date. Powering the Redcliff 39.5 Date ‘ES’ is the automatic La Joux-Perret G100 movement, renowned for its reliability and accuracy, featuring central seconds and a colour matching date window positioned neatly at 3 o’clock.
Offering 15ATM (150 metres) of water resistance, it is perfectly suited for daily wear, whether navigating a rock face or the commute to work. The Redcliff is supplied on a durable bespoke textured FKM rubber strap, with a bespoke dual trigger deployant buckle engraved with the Fears cypher prior to bead-blasting, hardening and finally DLC coating. The strap is accented with vivid orange stitching, enhancing its sporty yet purposeful character.

Each model in the collection explores the interplay of depth, texture, and negative space in its own distinct way, marking a confident evolution in Fears’ design language. The ‘Charcoal Rose’ offers a softer, more contemplative aesthetic, blending warm vintage tones with refined dial texture for a quietly expressive feel. The ‘ES’ leans into contrast and clarity, using bold elements to create a watch that feels both contemporary and purposeful. Pushing the concept further, the ‘Barleycorn’ Jump Hour introduces a new level of complexity, with its 3D barleycorn pattern and layered construction offering architectural depth and mechanical intrigue. Together, these watches reflect how Fears continues to evolve — not by abandoning tradition, but by building on it with thoughtful design, elevated materials, and a deepening focus on visual storytelling.
