We are great admirers of the Michel Herbelin brand. They are launching a new watch collection, Classique 24H, with a self-winding skeletonised model. The distinctive dial display features 24-hour cycle divided into 2 x 12 hours. We love the styling that confidently reveals it’s inner beauty while at the same time embracing 1960s French watchmaking chic.
Demonstrating Michel Herbelin’s watchmaking expertise, this model presents a Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement (Sellita SW-200 SQ) oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and benefits from a 38-hour power reserve. Highlighted by the transparent centre of the dial, it subtly awakens the watch’s classicism while allowing its complex orchestration to be admired.
Watchmaking enthusiasts will also approve of the transparent case back that reveals an oscillating weight engraved with the Michel Herbelin signature, as well as the bridges and frames adorned with circular-grained decoration.
Made in France, the Skeletonised Classique 24H is part of the 70 years of French watchmaking expertise anchored in the Jura mountains of the Franche-Comté region.
Designed, assembled, timed and tested at the Michel Herbelin workshops, this timeless model with vintage touches reflects the brand’s values: beautifully crafted watchmaking offered at a very reasonable price considering the care that is lavished on every detail.
