With a timeless black design for men, delicate pastel shades for women and intricate mechanics for all wearers, Mühle-Glashütte is adding not one, but four new models to its Teutonia IV family. The manufacturer is also exploring new dimensions with its Teutonia IV Chronograph, the smallest chronograph in the Mühle collection with a diameter of just 39 millimetres.
Complex mechanics in a 39-millimetre case: the Teutonia IV Chronograph
When it comes to innovation at Mühle-Glashütte, the Teutonia IV is cementing its position as the pioneering figure. The Teutonia IV Moonphase, which was launched in 2019, was the first watch with a moon phase display in the collection of the independent family company from the German town of Glashütte. Now, two years on, this family of watches is celebrating another triumph by welcoming the company’s smallest chronograph (above).
The case houses a white face with applied indices and clearly marked minute graduation with small blue second and minute numerals. The same blue colour can also be found in its lance-shaped hour and minute hands as well as the smaller hands in the small-second display in the 9 o’clock position and the chronograph display, all of which extend to the perfect length for clear readings on their respective time scales. These blued hands are powered by Mühle’s MU 9419 chronograph movement, which features a Glashütte three-quarter plate with a removable escape wheel bridge and the classic Glashütte click.
The movement is also sure to impress wearers with its efficient Mühle rotor and, last but by no means least, the patented particularly shockproof woodpecker neck regulation.

Business elegance at its very best: the Teutonia IV Small Second
Mühle’s new Teutonia IV Small Second with a dark dial is the perfect timekeeping companion. The case of this timeless business watch is made of high-quality stainless steel and has a diameter of 41 millimetres. As is typical of the Teutonia family, the middle of the case features a vertical finish carefully applied by hand. The top surfaces of the volute-shaped lugs are finely polished and perfectly harmonise with the straightforward design of the bezel of the Teutonia IV Small Second.
Even more harmony is added by the clean-cut design of the face of the new Mühle watch, which conceals a SW 461-1 Mühle version movement with a large small-second and large date. The date display of the Teutonia IV Small Second is around 30 percent larger than that of comparable watches.

A touch of femininity: the Teutonia IV Lady
The Teutonia IV Lady is a women’s watch that truly lives up to its name. The watch is available with a pastel blue face or a raspberry-red bi-colour design and thus offers plenty of feminine elegance for wearers with a discerning sense of style. The case of the Teutonia IV Lady has a diameter of 33.5 millimetres, thus making it ideal for even the most delicate of wrists.
While the blue-faced watch takes a more subtle approach with its pastel shade and silver-coloured hands and indices, its raspberry-coloured sibling is happy to stand out with its luxurious golden highlights in the form of intricately gold-plated lance-shaped hands and applied indices. A final splash of gold is provided by the dial division, which elegantly curves around the date display in the 6 o’clock position to give the watch a perfect finishing touch.
