For more than 70 years, Martin-Baker has been pioneering pilot safety systems that have saved thousands and thousands of lives. Bremont have worked in partnership with this historic British engineering company to produce a series of wristwatches, all tested beyond endurance and able to withstand even the extreme forces of ejection in a Martin-Baker ejector seat.
The new MB Savanna, is the first watch in the Bremont MB Series made of Grade 5 Titanium, and the first with a sand-coloured livery, inspired by camouflage equipment used by the military in desert. The MB Savanna’s desert-coloured, military palette begins with its Grade 5 Titanium case, which is matt finished with a protective, tactical coating. Its metal dial and rubber strap are Savanna-coloured, too, while the hands and indexes are filled with a sand-coloured Grade X1 Super-LumiNova®.
As with each model in the Bremont MB collection, the MB Savanna is a tool you can throw at anything and expect it to continue performing. The quiet symbol of its robustness is, as before, the black and yellow Martin-Baker ejector seat loop motif counterbalance on the central seconds hand. To this day, the Bremont MB Series watches are still the only watches tested in a Martin-Baker ejector seat.
