A Bold New Chapter In Design For RESERVOIR

Some watches make their mark through the dial. Others through the movement. The truly distinctive, however, are defined at a glance by their silhouette alone. With the Mark II, RESERVOIR takes a decisive step forward in shaping its identity.

For the first time, the brand extends its design philosophy beyond its signature complications to encompass the entire watch, from the case to the integrated bracelet.

Since its inception, RESERVOIR has been driven by a bold idea, to rethink the way time is displayed, drawing inspiration from precision instruments. Automotive counters, industrial gauges, and aeronautical dashboards have all informed the brand’s unmistakable, highly graphic dials. These have long served as the focal point of its creative expression.

In keeping with this approach, previous designs intentionally kept the rest of the watch understated, clean cases, discreet straps, and balanced finishes, allowing the dial to take centre stage.

Mark II signals a new chapter

Here, RESERVOIR introduces a watch architecture designed to stand on its own. A form that is instantly recognisable. A silhouette that does more than support the dial, it actively defines the watch’s identity. Like the great icons of horology, Mark II is conceived to be recognised before its finer details even come into focus.

Aligned with the technical aesthetic of the brand’s “Mechanics” collections, Mark II embraces a strong geometric design language. The case is sculpted through a sequence of sharp angles and facets, subtly echoing the world of engineered components. Visible screws punctuate this architecture, reinforcing the industrial spirit that has inspired RESERVOIR from the very beginning.

Light plays a crucial role in bringing this design to life. Satin-brushed surfaces contrast with polished accents, enhancing depth and emphasising the complexity of the form. As the wrist moves, the interplay of angles captures and reflects light in constantly shifting ways, giving the watch a dynamic, almost emotive presence.

This level of detail extends throughout. The crown, buckle, and caseback have all been reimagined to align with the new design language, each featuring the brand’s signature and contributing to a cohesive whole.

With Mark II, RESERVOIR does more than launch a new timepiece, it establishes a new visual signature. One that will shape future collections and become an enduring element of the brand’s identity. A design where every line, every angle, and every finish works in harmony to express a mechanical object that is as compelling to observe as it is to wear.
