Both mother-of-pearl and ruby have rich histories of horological use, for dials and markers, respectively. This watch combines them, with each amplifying the unique qualities of the other. The mother-of-pearl’s deep, swirling surface and soft white hue pair perfectly with the thin ruby markers and their scarlet color. The facets of the ruby markers are echoed in the dial’s guilloché centre, creating harmony amongst the various elements.
The inaugural creation, the Carillon Tourbillon, features a tourbillon, minute repeater, and a micro-rotor, and holds a special place in their hearts, and they are excited now to be laying the foundation for the future of the Biver brand with the recent introduction of the anything-but-basic Automatique.
