Fears Introduces Its First Pilot’s Watches Alongside Fresh Additions To The Core Collection
British watchmaker Fears marks a significant milestone with the launch of its first pilot’s watches in its 180-year history.
Alongside this debut, the brand expands its core collection with new pastel-toned Redcliff models and a refined Jump Hour, blending heritage inspiration with contemporary design.
The new releases include the Brunswick 40 ‘Filton’, Redcliff 39.5 ‘Pastel Collection’, and Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘China Blue’—each offering a distinct take on the evolving Fears aesthetic.
Brunswick 40 ‘Filton’
Fears enters the world of aviation watches with the Brunswick 40 ‘Filton’, a piece that draws on Britain’s rich aeronautical heritage. Named after Filton—home to the historic Bristol Aeroplane Company and a key site in Concorde production—the watch reflects the precision and purpose associated with early flight.
Clean, legible and thoughtfully restrained, the Filton introduces a date complication to the Brunswick 40mm line for the first time, positioned subtly at six o’clock. Two dial options define its character: Raven Black, with a deep sunburst finish inspired by cockpit instrumentation, and Squadron Green, a matte gradient referencing classic RAF tones.
Both versions feature applied numerals in Fears’ bespoke ‘Edwin’ typeface, a prominent triangle at twelve, and sword-shaped interpretations of the brand’s signature ‘pipette’ hands. Inside, the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement powers the watch, which is paired with a chocolate brown buffalo leather strap for a refined yet utilitarian finish.
Redcliff 39.5 ‘Pastel Collection’
Bringing a lighter, more playful dimension to the range, the Redcliff 39.5 ‘Pastel Collection’ introduces three new dial colours: Sherbet Yellow, Soft Peach, and Pale Lilac. Designed as an accessible entry point into the Fears collection, these models combine contemporary colour with the brand’s hallmark balance and clarity.
The matte-lacquer dials are complemented by white-coated applied batons and a matching chapter ring featuring luminous minute numerals. The absence of a date ensures symmetry, while the luminous ‘pipette’ hands enhance legibility.
Powered by the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic calibre with a 68-hour power reserve, each watch is offered on a colour-matched Alcantara® strap or a stainless steel bracelet with on-the-go micro-adjust, reinforcing everyday versatility.
Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘China Blue’
Completing the trio is the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘China Blue’, a sophisticated evolution of one of Fears’ most distinctive complications. Following the success of the ‘Barleycorn Plum’, this new iteration introduces a calm blue-and-white palette inspired by traditional Stoke-on-Trent pottery.
The dial features a three-dimensional barleycorn guilloché pattern finished in pure silver, contrasted by a matte China Blue centre. The jump-hour display at twelve is crisp and precise, balanced by a subtle signature plate at six, while a single rhodium-plated hand tracks the minutes with elegant simplicity.
The watch is powered by the Christopher Ward JJ01 jump-hour module on a Sellita SW200 base, delivering a clean, instantaneous hour change. The 40.5mm stainless steel case, with brushed and polished surfaces, houses a display caseback revealing the decorated movement and Fears’ signature blue rotor.

The new collection will be available from 9 April 2026, with deliveries commencing at the end of the month. Pieces can be purchased through the Fears boutique in Bristol, online, and via authorised retailers worldwide.
Fears will also showcase the collection at Time to Watches in Geneva from 14–19 April.
