Bamford London has created a special timepiece for Thomas Pink, the British luxury shirtmaker, to complement its beautifully crafted cuffs.

Created in partnership with watchmaker George Bamford, the Bamford Thomas Pink automatic titanium GMT timepiece has an internal rotating bezel, a mechanical movement with self-winding mechanism and a central hand to indicate a second time zone. It’s the first partner of its kind for Bamford.

“Thomas Pink is the only luxury menswear brand we’ve partnered with. I feel very fortunate to work with such a well-known British label, and really like what they are doing by modernising the idea of what a contemporary shirt is. That approach to design fits perfectly with what we do with watchmaking, so this is a great collaboration. As this is a titanium watch it’s got a nice, light weight. It’s also modern looking but with a retro-modern case. I’d say it was very Thomas Pink.”

The watch is a limited edition, with only 30 models with a black dial and 30 with a white dial. As a GMT timepiece it has a dedicated 24-hour hand to indicate a second time zone, and this is highlighted with the Thomas Pink house pink colour, which is also picked-up on the second hand and at the 0 marker on the 24-hour internal rotating bezel. It comes in two dial colours; white and black. It also arrives with interchangeable straps: one in black fabric and one in black rubber. You can also purchase further different-coloured straps from Bamford directly.
