What began with four distinctive models has now evolved into a diverse collection exploring the finest traditional crafts of haute horlogerie, including guilloché, gem-setting, and grand feu enamel.

For this latest collection, Biver’s artisans have challenged themselves further, introducing new metalworking techniques, innovative stone and gemstone combinations, and the timeless artistry of enamel.

The Art of Contrast
The original metal-dialed Automatique trio — in platinum, rose gold, and yellow gold — offered a study in tone-on-tone refinement. Two new references now expand this aesthetic, playing with contrast and texture in elegant, unexpected ways.
The first is a subtle two-tone composition, pairing an 18k rose gold case with a dial crafted from PD210 white gold, a special alloy with higher palladium content that lends a softer, lighter hue. The result is a harmonious interplay of metals — understated yet luxurious — available on a Pomari calf leather strap or matching rose gold bracelet.
The second reference introduces a platinum case and a deep blue dial, blending sunray brushing with hand-executed Clous de Paris guilloché. Each dial requires countless hours of meticulous work on century-old rose engines, with varying guilloché rings creating a seamless dialogue between texture and light. Finished with white gold hands and indices, it exemplifies understated artistry — classic craft in contemporary form.
The Atelier Series: Stones with Soul
The Atelier Series continues to push creative boundaries, reimagining the Automatique through the lens of natural materials. Seven new references join the collection, showcasing four extraordinary stones — mahogany obsidian, Oeil de Fer, blue quartzite, and lavender jade — each with its own character and emotional resonance.
The mahogany obsidian in rose gold radiates warmth with swirling red and black patterns, while the Oeil de Fer in yellow gold reveals earthy veins of ochre, brown, and black. Both dials seem alive with movement, their surfaces shifting subtly with every glance.
The platinum-cased blue quartzite evokes the icy calm of a frozen lake, while the lavender jade offers a serene interplay of pink and violet tones. Select models introduce gemstone hour markers — diamonds or blue sapphires — a first for the Automatique, showcasing Biver’s mastery in integrating fine stones into delicate hardstone dials.
A Contemporary Take on Enamel
Grand feu enamel, often associated with ornate, classical watchmaking, takes on a fresh, modern voice in two new 18k yellow gold Automatique references. The dials, in matte grey or bordeaux, are handcrafted in Geneva by Les Emailleurs de la Cité, and display an elegant restraint that enhances their depth and luminosity.
Paired with luminous yellow gold hands and markers, these models balance tradition and modernity — the solemn beauty of enamel enlivened by subtle, functional touches.

The Heart of the Automatique
All models are powered by the Calibre JCB-003, developed in collaboration with Dubois Dépraz. Featuring a 22k gold micro-rotor, a 65-hour power reserve, and a zero-reset seconds mechanism, this movement is as visually captivating as it is technically precise. Finishing details include guilloché, black polish, and anglage, with the micro-rotor colour coordinated to each case material — a hallmark of Biver’s obsessive attention to detail.
