Breitling’s Lady Premier collection reimagines the brand’s 1940s Premier Fantaisies models for today. Sculptural silhouettes, radiant hues, cascading diamonds, and ombré finishes come together in playful elegance.
This collection embodies the elegance and independent spirit of the Lady Premier woman—paying tribute both to those who built Breitling’s legacy and to those carrying it forward. Long before men set aside their pocket watches, women had already claimed the wristwatch as their own, leaving an indelible mark on the brand’s history.
In the 1940s, Willy Breitling launched the Premier line, transforming the chronograph from a purely technical instrument into a symbol of sophistication. With luxurious materials, graceful proportions, and one of the earliest chronographs designed expressly for women, the Premier redefined watchmaking as both precision and style. Willy’s wife, Beatrice—a woman of charisma and elegance—would later inspire his vision and leave a lasting imprint on Breitling’s creative direction.
Through the decades, Breitling watches have adorned women of confidence and charisma—most memorably Raquel Welch in the 1967 spy film Fathom. As Willy Breitling once observed, “When a woman puts on her watch, her whole personality is magically transformed.”
That transformative spirit is carried forward in the new Lady Premier collection. While rooted in the refined codes of the historic Premier line, Lady Premier introduces a contemporary design language: fluidly contoured cases, ombré alligator straps, and dials with a lustrous, silk-like shimmer. Even its name recalls Breitling’s pioneering women’s collections of the 1980s, such as the Lady-J and Wings Lady.

With its debut, Lady Premier completes Breitling’s modern women’s offering—spanning the spectrum from high-performance sport to this new pinnacle of cultivated elegance.
Inspired by the 1940s Premier Fantaisies models, its architecture nods to their avant-garde lugs and seamless case-to-bracelet flow.

The automatic 36 mm models in stainless steel feature rich dial colors and matching alligator-leather straps in gradient shades of Aubergine, Sage, and Dove Grey. An 18k gold version is paired with a gradient Chocolate strap. The watch houses the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10, an automatic movement with approximately 42 hours of power reserve.
The Lady Premier 32 mm is rendered in stainless steel, with dial variations in mother-of-pearl, Ink Blue, and Midnight Black. Each is paired with a newly developed tapered seven-row Chevron bracelet, its distinctive V-shaped geometry offering a refined, feminine interpretation of the classic Premier bracelet. Powering the watch is Breitling’s COSC-certified Caliber 77 SuperQuartz™, delivering precision far beyond standard quartz movements.
Select references feature diamonds set along the lugs and bezel in flowing, organic curves. On the dial, contrasting finishes—satin soleil at the center and rehaut, and circular brushing around the indexes—produce a luminous play of light. Minimalist Arabic numerals, faceted lozenge hands, and a sculptural crown underscore the collection’s jewelry-like elegance.
Aligned with Breitling’s sustainability commitments, the Lady Premier employs responsibly sourced gold and fully traceable lab-grown diamonds, ensuring integrity in every detail of its design and craftsmanship.
