Panerai has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Perrin as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st April 2025. Currently serving as Head of Specialist Watchmakers Distribution, Perrin will report to Richemont CEO Nicolas Bos.
With 33 years of experience at Richemont, including leadership roles at Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, Perrin has spent the past eight years heading Specialist Watchmakers Distribution. His deep understanding of both the Group and the watch industry makes him well-positioned to drive Panerai’s ongoing evolution and long-term success.

Jean-Marc Pontroué, who has led Panerai since 2018, will step down on 1 April 2025, concluding a distinguished 25-year career with Richemont. Having played a crucial role in shaping Panerai’s strategy and global presence, following leadership positions at Montblanc and Roger Dubuis, Pontroué leaves behind a legacy of innovation and growth. The Maison extends its heartfelt appreciation for his dedication and contributions over the years.
