Fears Watch Company adds a new, larger model to its popular cushion-shaped Brunswick family of watches: the Brunswick 40.
The new watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement and comes in three new dial colours. The Brunswick 40 breaks new ground for Fears since the company’s relaunch, being fitted to a custom-made bracelet that has been developed specifically for this new watch.
The new, larger 40mm case gives the Brunswick 40 a sportier feel with subtle adjustments to the proportions. The case is expertly finished with a combination of circular brushing and polishing with no flat surfaces, similar to the original 38mm case. The watches also are water resistant to 100m.
There are three new dial colours: Opaline Silver, Fears Blue and Flamingo Pink. Each dial features several layers with multiple finishes applied resulting in an appearance that changes with the light. All three colours use Fears’ bespoke ‘Edwin’ numerals, which have been milled and diamond polished to a mirror shine before being hand applied to the dial. The new hand design has a distinctive profile with a solid ‘pipette-shape’ which ends in a graceful tip.
The new collection comes on a bespoke five-link bracelet in milled stainless steel. Created especially for this watch, it features flush-fitting end links that give it an integrated, contemporary look. The gently curved links are made up of individual elements that allow easy movement when on the wrist and are finished in alternate rows of polish and brushing, complementing the case finishing. The bracelet is secured to the wrist with a trigger-release butterfly clasp that when opened reveals a secret ‘Bristol Flower’ motif.

The Fears Brunswick 40 in all three colours retails for £3,750 inc. VAT with delivery of the first batches commencing in November.
