Full Lume ‘Superman’ Maxi-Dial From Yema

The exclusive YEMA Superman full-lume model limited to 500 timepieces equipped with the YEMA2000 in-house Caliber.

This unique model is instantly recognisable by its symmetrical ‘no-date’ white dial which contrasts perfectly with the black slightly oversized markers and black varnished hands that pop off the dial. Appearing stark white under lights and vibrant ice blue in the dark, the full-lume dial provides maximum contrast and huge legibility under all lighting conditions.

This one-of-a-kind Superman’s dial is treated with a Grade A Super-LumiNova® BGW9 thick coating providing one of the brightest dials out there. The ultra-phosphorescent ice blue light has a very long durability in the dark, offering a continued optimal reading of time even in complete darkness.

The unique Superman bezel-lock at 3 o’clock has proven very useful to professional divers and is found on all Superman models since 1963. The unidirectional, circular-brushed steel bezel comes with marks at 5 and 15-minutes intervals and a luminescent triangular zero-mark at 12 o’clock.

This exclusive Limited Edition features a high-quality 2.60 mm double domed sapphire crystal offering better readability, enhanced resistance and a resolute vintage look. The iconic seconds hand with its head shaped like a shovel is present in most Superman models since the 1970’s.

Developed to withstand intensive use, the 316L Steel caseback proudly displays YEMA’s historic crest beautifully embossed with a hydraulic press. Each timepiece is engraved with a unique number from 001 to 500 for this ultra-limited Collector’s Edition.
