Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to expand the universe of the Reverso with a new creation that pays homage to its origins while embracing modern femininity – the Reverso Classic Monoface ‘Origin’.

With its graceful proportions and Art Deco lines, this latest addition reaffirms the enduring versatility of one of watchmaking’s most recognisable icons.
The new Reverso Classic Monoface ‘Origin’ takes direct inspiration from the Reverso Dame, first introduced in 1931. With a case measuring 32.5 x 16.3 mm, the watch is perfectly proportioned for slender wrists, offering discreet elegance and everyday versatility.

True to the spirit of the original, Jaeger-LeCoultre once again reimagines the Reverso for women – a tradition that began almost immediately after the model’s debut, when La Grande Maison created pieces that went beyond the wrist, adorning handbags and pendants.

The polished steel case frames a dial that radiates quiet sophistication. At its centre, a guilloché sunray motif draws the eye outward, meeting a chemin de fer minute track that echoes the geometry of the case. The outer section features vertical brushing, against which transferred Arabic numerals stand with understated clarity.

Two strap options are offered: a supple five-row steel bracelet for modern versatility, or a blue alligator strap for classic distinction.

As with the earliest Reverso timepieces, the blank metal reverse side of the case offers an open invitation to personalisation. With limitless possible engraving and lacquering combinations, each owner has the opportunity to make their Reverso uniquely their own – transforming a watch into a personal talisman.
