Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils two refined additions to its Master Ultra Thin collection, the Master Ultra Thin Date and Master Ultra Thin Moon.

Each model is now offered with a superb new grained dial rendered in a soft, copper hue. Paired with the cool gleam of polished stainless steel, this warm, textured dial treatment brings a fresh and quietly luxurious energy to one of JLC’s most enduringly elegant lines.
Rooted in the Maison’s storied history of crafting ultra-thin timepieces since the early 1900s, the Master Ultra Thin remains the archetypal modern dress watch: timeless lines, long tapering lugs, crisp surfaces and an ethos of understatement underscored by genuine horological substance. Behind these svelte silhouettes lies nearly two centuries of savoir-faire from the Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux—expertise distilled into the collection’s famously slender calibres.

The new copper-toned dials introduce a contemporary warmth that shifts subtly with the light, moving from a powdery pastel to a richer, more saturated shade. This tonal dynamism plays beautifully against the razor-sharp indexes and faceted Dauphine hands—each hand split between satin and polished finishes to heighten the drama of shifting reflections.
A new brown alligator strap completes the ensemble, easily interchangeable thanks to a quick-release system, enhancing everyday versatility without compromising elegance. As ever with the Master Ultra Thin line, balance and restraint define the 39mm dial architecture.

Both models place their complications at 6 o’clock—either a crisp date display on the Master Ultra Thin Date or a poetic moon-phase and pointer-date on the Master Ultra Thin Moon. The former features a white date disc framed by the copper dial, while the latter presents a silver moon floating against a midnight-blue starfield, encircled by black-printed dates—a subtle but satisfying contrast that collectors will appreciate.Powering these pieces are two of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most trusted in-house movements.

The Master Ultra Thin Date is equipped with the self-winding Calibre 899, while the Master Ultra Thin Moon houses the Calibre 925. Both are proven performers, upgraded over the years to deliver greater reliability, enhanced chronometry and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, each calibre displays the kind of finishing enthusiasts expect from La Grande Maison: Côtes de Genève, bevelled bridges, heat-blued screws and an open-worked 22-carat pink-gold rotor.

Naturally, both models undergo Jaeger-LeCoultre’s formidable 1000-Hour Control—one of the most rigorous quality protocols in Swiss watchmaking—covering not just the movement but the fully assembled watch. With these new copper-grained dial executions, Jaeger-LeCoultre brings a fresh dimension to the Master Ultra Thin—maintaining its quiet authority while offering collectors a richer, more contemporary palette within a timeless form.
