Patek Philippe has reinterpreted the design of its most complicated wristwatch by offering it for the first time in a ‘two-tone’ version combining white gold and rose gold, along with brown opaline dials.
The Grandmaster Chime (Ref. 6300GR) is the most complicated piece in the current collection with 20 complications. Among the complications are five acoustic functions, including two patented world exclusives (an alarm sounding the programmed time and a date-repeater striking the date on demand). The striking mechanism has three gongs and five chiming modes – grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie, minute repeater, alarm with time strike, date repeater.
The reversible double-sided case is distinguished by its patented swivel mechanism, enabling it to be worn with either dial visible. The double-faced white gold and rose gold case of 47.7 mm diameter, has brown opaline dials, time side showing a hand-guilloched hobnail pattern.
Reference 6300GR-001 is accompanied by white gold cuff links with a brown opaline center adorned with a hand-guilloched hobnail pattern and a rose gold Calatrava cross.
This new model replaces the white gold Reference 6300G-010 and joins the three Haute Joaillerie versions now in the collection.
