The new Orbita model from Poljot-International is dedicated precisely to this ISS space station, with the entire design orientation meticulously adapted to the space theme.
Looking at the dial, one immediately notices the second time zone at 3 o’clock, representing the ISS space station and Earth. The second hand at the 6 o’clock position is also symbolically designed as a small space station. The red markings make it easier to read the seconds. The hour markers in the outer area of the dial are placed in the form of small stars, which once again picks up on the space theme. There is also a day and night indicator in the 9 o’clock area. All the blue-coated hands are also provided with blue luminous paint to ensure good readability of the time even in the dark.
In addition, a grey suede strap with side stitching and an embedded metal logo fully emphasises the theme. The 43-millimeter stainless steel case is covered with a sapphire crystal and carries the skeletonised and engraved hand-wound caliber 9931-PI with a power reserve of 36 hours, which is visible through a glass back. With a limited edition of only 300 pieces and an excellent price/ performance ratio, the new model exceeds all expectations.
