Slim d’Hermès Neo Brandebourgs Is A Modern Twist On Tradition

The Slim d’Hermès Neo Brandebourgs reimagines minimalism through a bold, futuristic lens. Inspired by the ornate Brandebourg fastenings of a 19th-century military jacket, this timepiece transforms historical elegance into contemporary design.

It’s a striking evolution of Hermès’ restrained aesthetic — where heritage meets innovation in perfect, poetic balance.

The Slim d’Hermès Neo Brandebourgs brings a vibrant, futuristic twist to classical artistry. Inspired by a 19th-century military jacket, its dial transforms a design first drawn by Caty Latham in 1972 — itself reinterpreted by Japanese designer Daiske Nomura — into a vivid work of horological art.

A play of shapes and colours reveals the jacket’s silhouette through the delicate mastery of engraving and miniature painting, each stage guided by Hermès’ artisans. For the first time in the collection, a tourbillon takes centre stage at 7 o’clock, framed by the Maison’s signature Lift motif — a symbol of unity and motion.

Housed in a 39.5 mm platinum case, powered by the ultra-thin Calibre H1950T, and completed with an elegant alligator strap, this 24-piece limited edition is both sculpture and timepiece — a modern celebration of craftsmanship, precision, and poetic imagination.
